2 Years!

Well today is our 2 year anniversary. Time sure does fly. It is crazy to think how much our lives have changed in these past two years. I didn't think we'd have a baby this soon, but I can't imagine our life any differently. I have an amazing husband and the sweetest little guy in the world. Being a wife and a mom is so rewarding and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I was just thinking today that it has been about 6 years since Chill and I met. Wow! I'll be honest I don't really remember meeting him for the first time. It was at Utah State. He was with a bunch of guys that came over to my apartment to visit my roommate. I ended up playing tetris with all of them and winning (okay killing) all of them and then I left them in my front room and I went to bed (yes it was about 9:30 p.m...I need my sleep!) I ended up hanging out with him and his friends/roommates quite frequently after that. I would hang out with all Chill's roommates and play tetris with them at their apartment almost every night. Chill was always up at the school working or studying and would roll in somtime after midnight, say hi, and then he was off to bed. At some point Chill and I started becoming good friends. When I say friends, I mean strickly friends. I spent a lot of hours in his room, but I always sat on the chair at his desk and we would talk until the wee hours of the morning. Poor Chill...I know he was so tired, but that wouldn't stop me from talking. He was such a good sport to listen to all my problems. I think he was more like my therapist! This went on for years. We built such a great friendship. I'm not sure what happened or how things changed, but I started liking Chill in the summer of 2005. We hung out almost every night that summer. It was on the 4th of July when I realized that I had feelings for Chill. We were at fireworks and Chill of course had some cute little blonde thing there with him (I think she was blonde) Normally I would be so excited for him and cheering him on (that's what good friends do) but I was JEALOUS...WAY JEALOUS. I could not figure it out. Chill and I were JUST FRIEND and would always be. Apparently the "just friends" turned in to much more. I won't bore you with any more sappy details, but all I can say is I'm happy with the way things turned out. I think we were both shocked that we ended up together, but it was perfect because we were such good friends before we were anything more. We dated for a year while he started med school at the U and I finished up my last year at USU and we got married after I graduated. These past two years have been wonderful and I look forward to many more great years. I love you Chill!
