4 months

Carson is now 4 1/2 months. It is just so crazy to me. He started getting his first tooth a few weeks ago so he hasn't been the happiest camper. I knew something was wrong because he just wasn't acting like himself and I finally felt a little poke when he was chewing on my finger. I just never considered the fact that he might be getting a tooth because I just assumed he was still a little young for that. Apparently not. I'm not looking forward to the whole teething process, but we'll survive! At his 4 month check up which was a week and a half ago he weighed 14 1/2 lbs. and was 26 3/4 inches long. He has grown over 6 inches since he was born! He is getting to be a big boy and I just love it. He also go his shots at the appointment and he was not happy at all. It was a rough few days at our house getting a tooth and recovering from his shots. The doctor said I could start him on the rice cereal now if I want, but I think I'm going to hold off for another week or 2. I really wanted to wait until 6 months, but he is acting WAY to interested in food so I'm afraid it will have to be sooner. He is finally really rolling over on his own. He won't do it all the time, but ever now and again he'll surprise me and just flip right over. I was starting to worry that he'd never get the hang of it, but he is! He loves to give kisses and drool all over everyone...espeically my sister Mindi, he slimes her and I just laugh. He just gets cuter everyday!!!
