Carson's Forever Birthday

Okay I admit it...maybe I was a little too ambitious and went a little overboard on the parties for Carson... or is that that we have wonderful families that love this boy so much everyone wants to celebrate with him?  Whatever it was, Carson had about 4 days of non stop birthday fun!  It all started Friday March 30.  Chill had the day off so we put it in high gear and planned an eventful day to celebrate as a family.  First it was breakfast from McDonalds at Carson's request.  Then it was presents and then off to the Natural History Museum so we could check out some dinosaurs.  For those of you that have not yet been...GO...it is truly amazing.  The kids had a great time and we finally had to leave so we could move onto the next event which was the drive through at taco bell for some food to hold us over and then out to Chill's parents house to get ready for a birthday celebration.  It was a great party and Carson got SO MUCH STUFF.  I always think to myself...where the heck am I going to put this stuff?  Carson of course loved all the attention, cake, presents, etc.

On Carson's actual birthday, March 31st he has a soccer game.  I was so excited for him to play soccer and lets just say maybe soccer isn't his sport.  He had a lot of fun playing but didn't quite understand the concept of soccer and didn't care too.  He spent most of his time running around chasing his best buddy James and smiling really big anytime I called his name.  It sure was cute watching all those 4 year olds run around though.  It was worth it for sure.  Chill worked all day on Carson's birthday so Chill's parents took us out to lunch and took Carson to Toys R Us to pick out a gift.  We went home and took it easy and had some pizza before it was off to bed for the day to prepare for the next party.

The next party took place at my parents house.  My mom and sister really went all out for him and got him a darling Yoda cake, made green Yoda icecream and cupcakes with lightsabers.  They of course decorated the house for him and had lots of Star Wars gifts.  I will tell you this boy was in Star Wars heaven from the gifts from my family and Chill's family.  It was a little unreal.

And the last party he had was a friends party.  We debated whether to do anything or not and decided...why not.  It was a chance for us to see our friends before we were gone and Carson to see and play with a lot of his friends.  We decided we would do it at Kangaroo Zoo and I am so glad we did.  It was so easy and definitely worth the money.  All the kids had a great time Carson loved every minute of it.  I still can't believe this boy is 4 years old.  I just love him to pieces.
