Happy Birthday Chillin

Well another year has gone by and once again it was time to celebrate Chill's birthday.  I always love his birthday because we can have fun with it being on St. Patrick's Day.  They kids love it and really got into it all.  We had days of celebration.  We celebrated with my family on the 16th at Tepanyaki, with Chill's family on the 17th at Red Lobster, and then again on the 18th with Chill's extended family at his parents.  I know Chill enjoyed himself.  We also had to throw in some St. Patrick's fun for the kids of course.  It was nice to be able to take time and be with Chill for his birthday. With his schedule it seems like all he has time to do is eat and sleep on occasion.  I am so proud of him for all his hard work!  He is ALMOST done with his residency!  3 more years down, 3 more years to go!!!!

 

Painting

My mom has wanted a fresh coat of paint on her walls for years.  I finally recruited some help in the form of my brotehr and his wife Sharna.  We spent the weekend painting my parents house and had a great time.  I wish I had taken more pictures because it was quite a project.  I would like to tell my brother Brent thanks for risking his life on the ladder so that I didn't have to. 

Toy Story on Ice

You know one of the great things about having a brother that works for a radio station is we on occasion get some free stuff...like tickets to Disney on Ice.  We have been to a few different shows, but this one by far has been my favorite.  They did such a good job with Toy Story.  The kids absolutely loved it!  Bailey was happy and spent most of her time eating popcorn...whatever keeps her happy and quiet!  My mom was able to come and we invited a few of our good friends to come as well.  I may have enjoyed it more than the kids...but I don't like to admit that! 

Min's Graduation

Our little Mindi Lou graduated with her Masters of Esthetics from Elase Academy.  I was able to take my kids and meet my parents and Matt to celebrate.  We are so proud of her!

I need to get calm...

Carson is always making me laugh...Literally all day long.  As we were leaving Chill's parents one night he said, "hold on I need to get calm."  I of course and trying to push him out the door while he is trying to climb up on the counter.  I seconds later he is sitting indian style on the counter in front of the little essential oil lamp thingy.  He has his eyes closed, his arms out, and all I could here was hmmmmmmmmmmmm.  He told me that once he was calm then he would be ready to go home.  Where the kids comes up with this stuff I will never know.  I sure love him!

The Lorax

Carson was really loving the Lorax.  For the Read Across America Day they were reading the Lorax at Target so we of course headed over.  It was sure fun.  We just love Dr. Seuss books at our house so we were able to sit and enjoy quite a few.  Carsons love for the Lorax died out even before his "Lorax Birthday" and his obsession with Star Wars began...

Pedis

Okay I have honestly only had a few pedicures in my life.  I think to myself...Why the heck do I not do this more often when I actually do go, but is just hasn't really been my thing.  My sister Min is going to school at Elase Academy so I went with Claudia (chill's mom), Grandma Molly (chill's grandma), and Lynda (chill's aunt) to get pedicures at the school.  Sad news was, Min took the day off, but we went anyway.  I got to meet all her friends which was fun, but it was sad she wasn't there.  It was so fun to have a girls day out.  Once again I found myself saying...I have got to do this more often. If anyone needs a good cheap pedicure, head on over to Elase Academy in South Jordan and ask for my cute sister Mindi!
