This is why I love these boys! We went to Motherhood Maternity the other day so I could exchange some stuff and get some more "fat" clothes. I ran up to pay for my stuff and when I turned around this is what I saw. Gotta Love It!

April was a busy month for us and it came and went before I could even blink. Really I remember thinking how crazy it was that it was April first and now we are well into May. Where does the time go. I wish there were days it would just slow down. Slow down so that Carson wouldn't grow up so fast, slow down so that I could have more time before the new baby is here, slow down so I could get on top of all the projects I have for myself. Guess I just need to enjoy everything as the time flies by. I will just give a quick overview of how our April went.
Cason was so fun to watch on Easter. He told me the night before that the Easter Bunny was going to come in through the front door. He was headed down the stairs to let him in and I assured him that I would open the door when he got here. He was so cute when he woke up Easter morning and told Chill and I that the Easter Bunny brought Eggs. To be a kid again. He was so excited about all the eggs and his basket and when he finally found out the eggs were filled with Candy it was all over from there. Sugar High, Sugar High, Sugar High. Why do we as parents do this to ourselves. I mean I know darn well what would happen if Carson ate all that candy. He was a little wild! In some of the picutres you can see he is holding a marker. He told us he was using it to help him find his basket...
Chill's sweet grandpa passed away on April 12. He was the sweetest man I know. The family feels a great loss, but everyone also have so many wonderful memories of grandpa Claude. We were able to spend some time at his house just a few nights before he passed away and I am so glad we got to share that time with him, Grandma Molly and Chill's parents. We had pizza and looked through some photo albums. Grandpa Claude knew who everyone was in the pictures, it was impressive. He was in good spirits and joking just as much as he would any other day. Although we were shocked he went so quickly, we are happy to have the sweet memories that we have of him. It brought up a lot of memories for me as well because it was just a year ago that I was with my cute little grandma when she passed away. I miss her so much still, but know that she is happy and where she is supposed to be. Grandparents are so wonderful and I am so glad that I am able to have a relationship with Chill's grandparents. One of my fondest memories I have of Grandpa Claude is how sweet he was to Grandma Molly. I always knew that he loved her and would do anything for her. He was so cute with her, holding her hand and saying kind things. I have mentioned to Chill many times I hope we can be like his grandparents when we are that age.
Chill had a week off so we decided to take a quick trip to Arizona. The weather was SO nice and we really had such a good time. Nat and Jared are morning in June and we are so so sad. They are moving to Florida which is great, but a lot farther away! Carson was so cute to watch on the plane. I was thinking to myself how different it is now flying with him than when he was 3 months old and CRIED most of the time! He was so excited about it and would tell people he was going to Arizona! We just spent our time playing. It was so cute to watch all the kids together. I hate that we live far away just for that reason. The trip seemed way to short and went by too fast but I am so glad we went. We were sad to say good bye to Nat and Jared's little resort they have been living in for the past 4 years but excited for them to start a new adventure. Jared is starting his Residency in Florida in June and we are so proud of him.

The night before we flew home from Arizona we were able to have a birthday party. We celebrated Chill, Carson and my birthday. The guys and the kids decorated the house while Nat and I were shopping and they were so excited to show it to us when we got home. The party had to be quick because everyone was exhausted! We had a little Panda Express, opened presents, and then I ate cake by myself! We flew home from Arizona on my birthday. I was so sad to be leaving those kiddos and of course Nat and Jared. It was good to come home though and celebrate. Of course I went to work for a few hours because it was group night (I know, I know, but we had an awesome guest speaker I didn't want to miss) After group we went with my family to the Spaghetti Factory for some dinner and back to mom and dads for presents and strawberry pie...yummy! I was able to celebrate with Chill's family as well on Saturday night. We went to Cafe Rio (one of my favorites for sure) and then more gifts and cake and ice cream. The fun just kept going for a few weeks really. I celebrated at work last week with my friends, and then just yesterday had a fun girls lunch will the girls on Chill's side of the family which I just love! I really love birthdays (especially mine ha ha). My parents have ALWAYS made a big deal about birthdays and I appreciate it and still love it!
